Twelve6 Entertainment Signs Jerry Flowers

About Jerry Flowers: Jerry Flowers grew up in the small town of Pinch,West Virginia. That’s where at the age of 12 he discovered his life’s path when his brother Randy, needing accompaniment taught him the bass parts to a Def Leopard song. He then went on to loving and learning everything from Van Halen to Prince, Stevie Wonder and Sting.

After moving to Nashville in 1993 at the age of 20 he soon met a young Keith Urban and formed a trio along with Peter Clarke that later became The Ranch. The Ranch played any and every show they could touring the country in a van and eventually releasing their self titled debut on Capitol Records. The group split in 1998 and Jerry soon joined the Dixie Chicks as their bassist. Jerry did 3 tours with the Chicks and later toured with acts like Counting Crows before returning to Keith Urban’s tour in 2005. He’s still there to this day as Keith’s Musical Director and bassist.

Jerry has also had a successful run as a songwriter, having his songs recorded by such artists as Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Jason Derulo, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill among others, and has scored 3 Number One Hits with Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean and Billy Currington.

Jerry still performs and writes with  the same passion and excitement as he did in his early days in West Virginia and is excited to share his  knowledge and experience as a mentor and coach to young artists and musicians with the same dream.
